Richard Carpenter married Agnes Baker at North Nibley on 10th January 1610. Agnes was probably the daughter of Thomas Baker as there is a baptism on 6th November 1580 at North Nibley. A Thomas Baker was buried on 27th January 1616 at North Nibley.

Margaret Hayward was the daughter of Henry and Alice Hayward alias Hathway and he was a husbandman and yeoman of North Nibley.
Margaret married John Carpenter on 13th April 1635 at North Nibley.

Jonah Carpenter was baptised on 26th April 1640 at North Nibley, His parents were John and Margaret Carpenter. On 10th July 1658 he married Grace Andrewes at the Church of St Mary de Crypt in Gloucester.
Jonas was a broadweaver of North Nibley and he made his will on 9th February 1718/1719, His widow was buried on 19th August in the same year.

‘In the name of God, amen, ye 9 of February in ye year of 1718 / 19 Jonus Carpenter of the parish of North Nibley in ye county of Gloucester, broadweaver as by trade, being of perfect memory …
First I bequeath my body two be buried in Cristian burial at ye discretion of my executrix heare after nominated.
Item I give unto my daughter Elizabeth Organ four pounds of lawful money of England and two be paid in twelf months after my decease and for her own youse only.
Item I give two my granddaughter Jane, Jonathan Crewe’s daughter, twenty shillings and two be paid in 6 months after my decease.
Item I give to my sun-in-law Moris Organ two shillings and 6 pence and to be paid in 6 months of my decease.
Item I give to my sun Abraham Carpenter two shillings and 6 pence …

Item I give unto Dorothy Carpenter, granddaughter, one table board and frame in ye outer room and I would have my wife give her a broach.

Grace was baptised on 16th October 1636 at North Nibley. She was the daughter of Maurice and Mary Andrewes.
On 10th July 1658 she married Jonas Carpenter at the Church of St Mary de Crypt in Gloucester.
Jonas was a broadweaver of North Nibley and he made his will on 9th February 1718/1719, He was buried on 26th March 1719 at North Nibley.
His widow was buried on 19th August 1719 having made her will on 11th August in the same year.

To grandaughter Joan – Jonathan Cruse’s daughter – 2 pieces of pewter – 1 biggest, one least.
To daughter-in-law Mary, John Carpenter’s wife, one black mantle and petticoat.
To Elizabeth Organ – rest of wearing apparel both woollen and … and warming pan.
To granddaughter Dority Carpenter ye best bed and pillow and drecer and two blankets. 2 pieces of pewter, 3 boilers, two little crystal …

Elizabeth Carpenter was baptised on 26th November 1671 at North Nibley. She was the daughter of Jonas and Grace Carpenter of North Nibley. Jonas was a broadweaver.
Elizabeth married Maurice Organ II, a widower with two young children, sometime between 1687 and 1689. They had six children who were baptised at North Nibley between 1689 and 1703. Maurice Organ II was buried at North Nibley on 20th June 1721 and his widow, Elizabeth, on 8th May 1759.
